Books at Bushel Barns!

Thank you for registering to join us for "Books at Bushel Barns" {Pfafftown} on Friday, April 18, 2025! We are excited to meet everyone, connect with the animals, and spend some time reading! This event takes place at Bushel Barns Arena and the surrounding lawn areas.

GUESTS / PARTICIPANTS

PLEASE READ the details below as it relates to this event:

  • This event starts promptly at 4:00pm and runs until 5:00pm.

  • There is NO FEE to attend this event.

  • Sign-in/Forms: You will be asked to sign-in and provide a signature for a liability/release form.

  • Parking: Please park either along the drive (parallel to the arena side, on the grass) -or- in the grassy field to the right of the arena/round pen. Both of these areas are marked on the facility map below!

  • There is a PortaJon on-site near the arena. This facility does not otherwise have public restrooms.

  • Things to wear and bring with you – 

    • Closed-toe shoes (*required!) - NO CROCS OR SANDALS!

    • Folding camp chairs or picnic blankets (we will also have some on-site)

    • A book to read (or you can select from our collection!)

    • Water bottle/snack if desired (we will keep snacks away from our animal friends though!) We will also have snacks and bottled water available.

    • Sunscreen and bug spray! (This event will be held in and near the arena, which is open-sun. However, there are shaded areas nearby.)

  • Weather – Pollen counts are VERY high right now! We will have some masks available to those who might need them. In the event of rain/storms/winds, we will CANCEL. You will be contacted via email/text on Friday morning if the event is cancelled.

This is the first time Equuvation and Bushel Barns are partnering on the “Reading at the Ranch” initiative. Thank you for your patience and flexibility as we launch this special event in a new place!

Use the following address for your GPS – 4695 Waldraven Rd, Pfafftown, NC 27040. Please note, sometimes your GPS may want to take you to the wrong side of the farm if you use only the business name on Google, so please use the address above! Look for staff/volunteers to help you find parking. There is signage with the Bushel Barns logo.
